Recently I had a nice conversation with Karen Pierce, she is the Sales and marketing manager with CTC Plastics. (One of the quality manufactures we deal with on a regular basis.) Knowing CTC is heavy into the resin market and always looking for new or improved material and products, I reached out to her. We talked about specialized blends of recycled plastics such as Sea/Ocean Plastics being used in a percentage to create a “Feel good” plastic pallet. Yes, it can be done. However, the cost would be too high to produce. The market for this type of pallet at an extremely high price would limit marketing abilities because it’s not a suitable candidate for Plastic Pallets.
